Luther Wrestlers Spread Winona Rock

IMG_2917On Tuesday, June 7, Luther wrestlers and rising seniors Tristan Zurfluh and Hans Holkesvik  helped move Winona rock delivered by Pinter’s Landscaping.  Using wheelbarrows, they moved the rock where it was delivered from the parking lot to beds in front of the church where it was spread by Landscape Committee members Norma Refsal and Jane Kemp.  This is the first top dressing of the beds done since they were created several years ago.

images-1

On Sunday, June 5, a new liturgy was introduced at Good Shepherd which will be used for several weeks.  In the Lutheran tradition, a liturgy is a standardized order of events observed during a religious service. This new liturgy of Holy Communion is located in the With One Voice blue book located in the pews and is entitled, “Bread of Life, Setting 5”.  The congregation was introduced to this new liturgy by cantor Jonathan Struve and Music Director Brook Joyce.
