Welcome Friends and Neighbors Picnic – September 16, 2018

Good Shepherd will host its 9th Annual Welcome Friends and Neighbors Picnic on Sunday, September 16, 5:00-6:30 pm, a chance to celebrate community and enjoy good food and conversation! As in the past, the picnic will include lots of great local food, live music including the Good Shepherd Band and a special performance by local musicians Mark Stumme, Erik Berg, Jody Koenig, Amalia Vagts and friends. As always, there will be games for kids and a marshmallow roast. This event is free and open to all. A large tent will provide shelter from sun or showers. The entire Decorah community is invited to the event, including Luther College students, faculty, and staff. Sign up sheets are available in the narthex for people to bring food for the picnic’s potluck and to volunteer for various jobs at the picnic. You can also sign up online using SignUpGenius on the website Sign-Ups link  or call the church office at 563-382-3963.

David Lester and Ingrid Callaghan are co-chairs.
