We have 29 children and youth registered for Sunday School and Youth Forum this year! We have 3 classes now and 3 great lead teachers as well as Kelli Gapinski, Director of Children, Youth and Family Ministry, working with our kids.
We need 2-3 helpers each Sunday as the Good Shepherd Abuse Prevention Program stipulates that we have 2 adults working with each class. The teachers do all the prep and leadership. The other adult is simply a second, supportive presence in the room. We also occasionally need a helper with the Wednesday, 7:00 pm, Confirmation class. This requires just 45-60 minutes of your time a few times a year and a very brief background check for new volunteers.
