Reformation Events at Luther College, March 31-April 1

Liberating Grace Conference at Luther, April 1st, is now free of charge and open to anyone who would like to attend all or part of the day long event. Ralston Deffenbaugh will offer the keynote address, Sat., April 1, 8:45 a.m. in the CFL addressing the topic:Welcoming the Stranger and The Global Challenge of Refugee Protection in an Age of Fear.  He brings the voice of compassion, practice, and faithful wisdom born of experience to pressing issues of how faith communities respond to the needs of immigrants and refugees. Nadia Bolz-Weber will also be speaking again at 10:30 that morning on the topic A Week in the Life of a Preacher. During the afternoon, participants can select from a variety of workshops led by Luther faculty and guests on topics such as The Enduring Impact of Luther’s Liturgical Revolution, For the Sheer Joy of it: Luther’s Theology of the Body, J.S.
