Rally Day is September 8, and marks the beginning of a new year for both Sunday School and Adult Forum. Pastor Mau will do a ‘Blessing of the Backpacks’ during the service, so students may bring theirs to church. Adults, don’t forget your own ‘totes’ if you would like to have them blessed!
This year we will have a Good Shepherd Prayer Share in the Fellowship Hall after church. This will be an opportunity for members of our congregation to share a favorite prayer, perhaps one learned as a child. Feel free to recite your prayer or read it – your choice! Parents, please encourage your children to participate in this, as we would like contributions from all ages. The Education Committee is also hoping you will bring prayer books, plaques, http://healthymanviagra.com/ wall hangings, prayer shawls, etc., as well as the stories behind them. Anything that enriches your prayer life is welcome. Some of you may want to share a personal prayer experience.
