Recently congregation member John Bale received a Quilt of Valor as a veteran “touched by war.” The public presentation was held at the VFW Post No. 1977. Decorah Quilts of Valor will honor area veterans at this year’s Nordic Fest. The quilt pictured here is the 2016 National Quilt Block pattern “Valor Square” provided by the Quilts of Valor Foundation.
