On Wednesday, April 17, twenty new choir/band chairs ordered from Gunder Church Furniture (Humboldt, Iowa) arrived in time for the Easter celebrations at Good Shepherd. The chairs were ordered as part of the sanctuary renovation project at Good Shepherd which started in 2016. The oak chairs, which match the stain of the oak pews in the sanctuary, were designed so hymnals and choir/band books could be inserted underneath with access from both the front and back. Upholstery was selected to coordinate with the other new colors in the sanctuary.
