Memorial Service For Helen M. Schweizer, Saturday, January 7, 2017
Helen, 91, died on November 16, 2016, at Winneshiek Medical Center, Her Memorial Service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Decorah, Iowa, on Saturday, January 7, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow in the church’s Fellowship Hall. Helen and her family were charter members of Good Shepherd and she actively participated in the congregation’s leadership and mission throughout her lifetime. Pastor Amy Zalk Larson will preside; Dr. Timothy Weber, one of Helen’s sons-in-law, will preach. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be given to an organization of the donor’s choice that furthers Christ’s work in the world.
