Good Shepherd will participate in the 2023 Culture Fest (formerly known as the Ethnic Arts Festival). This year the event will be a collaboration between Luther College and the City of Decorah. It will be Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 3pm – 7pm in the parking lot where the Decorah Farmers Market is held.
Culture Fest will provide an opportunity to celebrate the rich heritage of the diverse communities reflected on campus and in the community and region at large. The organizers believe it is important to have our area churches of various faiths represented at this event.
Good Shepherd’s Congregation Council would like to share the story of Good Shepherd’s culture of welcome and inclusion. We will have a booth at the event and may also be able to share some jazz worship.
