From Friday morning, June 5 to Saturday noon, June 6, a hearty crew of 17 Good Shepherd volunteers shingled the Annex and Shed with 14 squares (1,400 sq. ft.) of new asphalt architectural shingles, guaranteed to last 20 years. The crew did the installation with donated equipment including two nail guns and compressors. The area was cleaned up utilizing a dumpster, plywood and tarps, and a roller magnet. This installation is an extension of the Good Shepherd physical renewal and revitalization projects initiated with the 25^th Anniversary celebrations.

The Memorial Service for Pastor Joan Mau will be held at First Lutheran Church, Decorah, IA, on June 4, at 1:00 pm; a reception will follow. Pastor Chad Huebner will officiate; Brooke Joyce will serve as organist. Good Shepherd Choir members are invited to join First Lutheran’s choir for the service; a joint rehearsal is scheduled for Wednesday evening at 7:00

Visitation is Wednesday evening, June 3, from 5:00 -7:00, at Fjelstul Funeral Home. There will be no visitation prior to the service.

Good Shepherd will join with First Lutheran in serving and providing food for the reception. Contact Bev Sheridan if you are able to help.
