Sign-up sheets for workers as well as recipes and tubs for batter are on the table in the Narthex. Remember this is an all-member activity – men, women, and children are welcome. Many of the tasks can be done sitting down and no experience is necessary. Note the poster of krumkake activity from past years.

Independence Day Concert Following Worship, Sunday, July 3

Brooke Joyce and Kathy Reed will play a short program of piano duets to celebrate Independence Day on Sunday, July 3 at 11 am, in the sanctuary. Included on the program will be transcriptions of Antonin Dvorak’s “American Quartet” (composed in Spillville), Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture” (not composed in Spillville), plus a surprise or two…

On Wednesday, June 22, we will worship outdoors and have a cookout.  Bring a dessert or salad to share.  Everything else for the meal will be provided.  You are invited to bring lawn chairs.

Seminarian Nathan Wicks to Preach, June 26

nathanCongregation member and seminarian Nathan Wicks will be preaching on Sunday, June 26. Nathan just completed his first year at Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque. Presiding Minister will be Pr. Marion-Pruitt-Jefferson, also a member of Good Shepherd.

Nathan graduated from Luther College in 2007 with majors in English and Classical Studies.  He and his wife, Sarah, are the parents of Karl.
